The Conservatives and Labour are formally to launch their campaigns for the Moray by-election.
The contest for the seat at Holyrood was prompted by the death of sitting SNP member Margaret Ewing last month, at the age of 60, following a long illness.
Mary Scanlon, who has served as a Highlands and Islands regional list MSP since 1999, is the Conservative candidate, while Sandy Keith will contest the by-election for Labour.
